Sleep hygiene

Learning better sleep and spiritual hygiene is much more effective. Learn what to drink after what time of day. Cut out caffeine and smoking. Cut out the things that increase dopamine or stimulate physical alertness - for the right physiological and spiritual reasons. Learn to use your support systems. I used to call my sponsor between two and three times a night, when I couldn't go to sleep. At night, my wife and I would pray, then we'd go to bed and usually make love.
