Grateful to Be a Sexaholic

I heard someone say "If you don't change, your sobriety date will."  Sexaholics Anonymous can be a VERY frustrating program for members who want to hold onto control in their lives, and for those who do not give this program 100%.  The AA Big Book says that we must let go of our old ideas, or the result will be nil. If I give myself to this program 100%, the result will be a spiritual awakening. If I give of myself to this program 99% or less, the result will be nothing. I am grateful today that I am a sexaholic. I am grateful that I have the disease of sexaholism. I can only say that because I have had the vital spiritual awakening--the vital change of attitude--that comes about by working the Steps with a sponsor.
